BBQ Roasted Red Potatoes

Recipe For The Week 6/11/16

Here is a simple recipe that is full of flavor and that makes a great summer side-dish. I used fresh small red potatoes purchased from our Farmer's Market (thanks Evan's Produce!!) and prepared them in the oven, however, they can also be wrapped in foil and cooked on the grill. Either way you cook them, the BBQ Blend spice brings a zippy flavor to the potatoes and the Chili Bird's Eye gives them just enough of an extra kick. Wow - what a great combination!

Ingredients:

2 Tblspns melted butter

1/8 tsp Chili Bird's Eye spice (use 1/4 tsp if you like it with a little more of a kick)

1 Tblspn honey

1/4 tsp Garlic Powder

1 Tblspn BBQ Blend

2 pounds red potatoes, quartered (do not peel)

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a large bowl combine the butter, spices, and honey. Add the potatoes and coat them with the sauce. Place the coated potatoes on a greased baking sheet and bake in the heated oven for about 40 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.
